We are AIXcellSYS

AIXcellSYS is a specialized technology company based in Herzogenrath, Germany, focused on test bench engineering, automation, and development solutions for fuel cell technologies. Since 2010, we have combined scientific expertise with practical engineering experience.

Our core focus is the development of customized fuel cell test benches, particularly for SOFC systems. In addition, we develop control and automation solutions as well as equipment for SOFC stack manufacturing.

Working closely with our customers, we create systems that accelerate development processes, transform measurement data into actionable insights, and support the path toward commercially viable fuel cell technologies.

The idea behind our work

AIXcellSYS develops tailored test benches, automation solutions, and manufacturing systems for fuel cells, with a particular focus on SOFC technology. Our systems make complex development and production processes measurable, controllable, and reproducible.

As an engineering partner, we support our customers from requirements analysis through to technical implementation. Media supply, electrical load control, safety concepts, automation, and data acquisition are precisely tailored to the respective testing or manufacturing process.

The result is solutions that deliver reliable results, improve the efficiency of development processes, and actively support fuel cell technologies on their path to market readiness.

How to find us

You can find AIXcellSYS GmbH on the first floor of TPH II (Technology Park Herzogenrath). Visitor parking is available on site. The technology park is conveniently accessible via the A4 and A44 motorways as well as the Dutch A76 motorway, and is located just a few minutes from Aachen.

For material deliveries, machine components, and larger shipments, please use our roller shutter entrance directly on the premises of Technology Park Herzogenrath. This allows for fast and safe unloading without detours.
